The Habitat Connection is a local organization whose main goal is to empower Middle Tennesseans to regenerate native habitat on their properties in order to improve ecosystem health and connectivity for birds and other life forms, including us.

Worried about the coming cicadageddon? Don't be! WBU Team Specialist & resident cicada expert Keirnan will tell you everything you need to know about these amazing creatures. Having studied cicadas and having lived through a major emergence previously, Keirnan has put together an incredible presentation including her own photos. She will provide tips on managing cicadas in your yard and let you know how your backyard birds will be affected. You'll never look at cicadas the same way again!

Let's Go Birding Together walks are for everyone who loves birds and the outdoors. We welcome those who identify as LGBTQ, allies, families, and anyone who wants to enjoy an outdoor experience that is inclusive.
